Thanks for taking the time to find out more about City on a Hill Church. We began to ask important questions a couple of years ago like “what would a church look like if Jesus was front and center?” and “who would we be if Jesus was our Senior Leader?” We found the answer to these questions in the bible. We discovered that the church isn’t as much about us as it is about Jesus. We have concluded that City on a Hill exists to spread the cause of Jesus in our city and around the world.
The cause of Jesus, referred to as the gospel or the good news in the bible, is three-dimensional. His cause revolves around three key categories of relationship: our relationship with God, our relationships with each other as followers of Jesus, and our relationship with our neighbors who don’t yet know Jesus. At City on a Hill we have embraced the cause of Jesus and live to spread His cause by loving God, sharing our lives together and serving the needs of our city.
