Sunday Night Service

The New Testament book labeled “The Acts of the Apostles” records this beautiful paradox as it unfolded in the early church. It is the sequel to the Gospel of Luke, and unlike most sequels, it delivers a compelling continuation of the narrative. The heart of the book is found in Jesus’ words to his followers in Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” (ESV)
