City On A Hill

2 Chronicles 1
This is a review of Solomon asking for wisdom and again he had to be really wise to ask for wisdom in the first place because if you are wise you have a greater chance of succeeding at most things and thus you will probably excel in most things do to your wisdom.

Psalm 17
I know this is weird to say but the harshest people I have encountered in my life, those that have really let me know they wanted the worst for me, have been people who claimed to be christians. I am not saying there were or weren't as only God knows their hearts but at the same time I think sometimes we as christians can persecute people so harshly because we feel that God is on our side but sometimes I think we are just being plain mean. Anyway all this to say this psalm made me think of christians which then made me kind of sad that those were the worst experiences I had had.

Matthew 20
It's weird that Christ kept telling the disciples over and over what was going to happen to Him. Weird because they still were not prepared for what was coming and weird because he repeated himself so many different ways and they still didn't get it. Hmmm interesting how the whole bible is kind of like that today:)
