I've heard that Vashti was being asked to come naked to show herself before te kind's party and that's why se didn't come but it seems that she didn't go because she didn't want to so I can see why the king would be frustrated. It's crazy though that he let her go just like that! I really like the story of Esther. She was favored among everyone she must have been amazing!

Psalm 40
Ah, this was one of the first things I read after becoming a Christian and it was so fitting it stuck in my head and I would go over it every day just to bring to mind how grateful I was for God's grace!

Luke 4
It's so cool how this unfolds that Christ goes and is tested and then after his time in the desert he goes to the synagogue and it is his time to read and he is given of all texts one that is first person of himself.

The other interesting thing is what he says about the widows and lepers and that there were many but only one of each were saved just as today there is craziness everywhere but then there are a small few who have been healed by their faith.
