Luke 12:49-59
Settle with Your Accuser
57 "And why do you not judge for yourselves what is right?58 As you go with your accuser before the magistrate, make an effort to settle with him on the way, lest he drag you to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the officer, and the officer put you in prison.59 I tell you, you will never get out until you have paid the very last penny."
Who do you think is the Accuser? I've always thought that Satan was the accuser and in ways I think he is but in light of vs. 49 "I came to cast fire on the earth, and would that it were already kindled! It appears that what Jesus is talking about is much more sobering. Is it possible that what we stand "accused of" is what we believe about Jesus, as he is the one who divides? What do you think? I think we should settle with Him, we should lose our life in Jesus and trust that he is the only means of Salvation. If the accuser isn't Jesus but the Devil how could we possible settle with him, it doesn't seem likely that we should settle with the Devil, furthermore are sins (or debt) isn't against the Devil, they're against God, so what stands as either or accuser or liberator - Jesus!
2 Thessalonians 3:14-18
As for you, brothers, do not grow weary in doing good. I know it vs. 13 but that's my prayer for us today.
Psalms 150
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD!
I'm gonna miss the Psalms everyday.
