Luke 13:1-9
We should repent and we should tell other to repent - There is no other way, but there is a way and it's through Jesus so again repent and tell others to repent. We and others will bear fruit and avert destruction only through the work of Jesus in our lives, he is the vine and we are the branches.
1Timothy 1:1-11
The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. Can we say the same thing?
Proverbs 1
If Jesus is wisdom (minus the sexual identification that Solomon makes) then the last verse flows seamlessly with Luke 13:1-9
but whoever listens to me will dwell secure
and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.
